Help me ID this upper!

I have an extra upper that appears to be a decent quality billet upper.

It has some horrendous rattle-can paint on it.

Can Calguns help me identify the manufacturer?

I don't recognize it.

I would still strip that paint to see if anything is etched on it though.

Looks like a milled upper rather than forged. That cuts it down about 90%

I believe you are correct.

I don't recognize it.

I would still strip that paint to see if anything is etched on it though.

I plan to strip it down and then build something fun with it.

Cerakoted (poorly) generic upper.

Looks like an Aero Precision M4A1 upper. The left side and case deflector look the same.

The right side is totally different. Mine has a very distinct "V" shape to the indentation for the bolt release.

It hasn't been cerakoted. It's a rattle-can job.

I think it is the ATI Billet Stripped Upper Receiver, but older model. Not the current one on their website.
You'd have to google the term, and search images.

it is probably just my mind playing tricks or weird lighting on my but I keep seeing the hints of markings above the dust cover... in the end does it really matter who the manufacture is?
