FNX-9 Rattling...

I recently bought an FN FNX-9 and really like it, just noticed it has a fairly loud rattle when it's moved. And it's not the magazine. I know all guns have this to some extent, but this is fairly loud and I can't quite tell where it's coming from.
Sound is like a little pebble being shaken in a closed container.

Does anyone else own of these? If so does it do the same thing?

take the slide off, and see if the rattle is from the slide or frame.

then go from there.

Yes, I did that, it's from the frame. And even after having the slide off and seeing inside the frame, I can hear it, but still have no idea what's causing it.

I have an FNX-9. I believe it's almost identical to the FNS-9, except it's hammer fired instead of striker

Yes, I did that, it's from the frame. And even after having the slide off and seeing inside the frame, I can hear it, but still have no idea what's causing it.

not a lot of areas in the frame area for something to rattle about and not fall out

Smart thinking, just tried it, but unfortunately that wasn't it.

check to see that the slide lock spring hasn't disengaged from the slide lock.
