You are probably going to have to fit a new one. Which is not the end of the world.

Try Brownells or Midway for a multitude of safeties you can choose from.
Before there was Polymer there was Accuracy.

It's a MIM part so it's not WC parts. I have one and got rid of the ambi and put in a WC tool steel single sided safety. Deb at Springfield is your contact person.

just buy a new one, yes it will have to be fitted but it really isn't that difficult and there are plenty of videos on youtube showing/explaining the process

Call Springfield service. They are great people there. Most likely, they will send you the part for free.

This 100%. They will take care of you. You can either get a replacement part or they may ask that you send it in. If so, they will send you a prepaid label. You should get it back in two weeks at the outside.

            SA is great.

Springfield will not send you just the right side safety. They will require you to send whole gun to fix it. Already tried it in the past, and this was the answer I was given.

This is the best way I have found to remove the safety.
I use paper than move up old credit cards and paper.
Have decided the screw driver is for screws.
Wonder how many jabs into his hand over the years.

Time to upgrade! Get a Wilson Bulletproof ambi with the tactical levers. Only the best.
