I think you're remembering a made for TV movie, "The Challenge". It starred Darren McGavin (Ralpie's dad in "A Christmas Story"), Mako, Broderick Crawford, and a very young Sam Elliott. McGavin's character used a weapon that consisted of two Madsen 1950 SMG's welded together. Looked wicked but obviously not practical/possible.

It's not semi-auto and it's not a shotgun, but Fuchs & Szecsei make a double barrel bolt-action rifle.
They are custom made, usually chambered for .375H&H Magnum and last I hear MSRP is around $100,000.sigpic

I've seen rigs that bolted two 1100 remmingtons to a single trigger group/stock assembly...
