Stay away from Davidson Defense

So I ordered an Aero Precision m5 308 stripped lower from davidsondefense.com. Submit a the required ffl info as required. Next day I get an email that my order was canceled because they don't ship any serialized parts to California. So I call them. They tell me that it is illegal to ship lowers built or stripped to California, while their website just says that they won't ship completed lowers or built rifles to California. The kicker is they refused to issue a refund. Being told since I ordered a "ILLEGAL" item they will only issue store credit.
After about an hour on the phone and talking with several different people they finally agreed to issue a refund. When I get the refund confirmation email the shorted me for a restocking fee. Wtf. Now when I call they just hang up.

Buyer beware. Not only is their store brand parts junk, but even their business practices are shady.

Why even waste time with them? Dispute it via your credit card, you will win, you will get 100% back, and the slack-jaw merchant will get hit with fees from the credir card processing company.

Davidson Defense is the same as Delta Team Tactical. They're maybe a step above Hesse/Blackthorne, but not by much.

My friend bought one of their uppers......thinking he had just scored a daniel defense upper on the cheap. I had to explain that they are not the same. I handled it. It was looooow tier in quality regards. I wouldnt give that company a dime.

I got a nice 350 Legend upper from them a year and a half ago when they first came out.

I've bought several low cost free float rails and compensators, all are GTG.
