    It’s fine. Just shoot it. Doubt you’ll have an issue. It’s due to the slide and barrel fit. You need to sling shot it like you mean it

      - remove the mag
      - lock the slide back
      - drop the slide into battery using the slide lock lever
      - does the slide return to battery? if so, then likely no problem

      Also do the same test and verify it returns to battery while stripping a dummy round from a loaded mag.

          Those X5 are pretty tight.
          You shouldn't worry about it unless it gives you issues when firing.

            My X5 is the same way if I don't release it from slide stop or slingshot. But it functions fine so no worries.

                Mine was doing that until about 200 rounds.....that baby needs to be broken in!

                  My X5 was the same way. Took a class with it, shot around 400 rounds and now it’s buttery.
