Stay away from Gun Kings Armory in Glendale!
I had similar experiences as Oldnoob and cannon mentioned in this thread http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...ight=Gun+Kings.
Approximately two weeks ago I met a fellow Calgunner at GKA to do a transfer on a rifle. We were the only two persons in the store when we got there, yet it took the heavy-set, bald guy about 40 minutes to complete all the paper work for the transfer.
During this time he bantered about how bad the NRA is, and also challenged my fellow Calgunner (the seller) as to the legality of bullet buttons, Radlocks and the like in relation to the seller's USC (which he did not have with him). The seller who is a young man, was able to hold his own with the bald guy behind the counter as the seller is well versed in the current laws regarding EBRs, as well as he is prepared with the contact info for one of our great attorneys. The seller noted that there were no EBRs in the store, so for those looking to transfer an OLL, I'd avoid this place.
I went to pick up my rifle recently, and although I was not subjected to the bald guys rhetoric, I did have to sign some BS hang tag that was yellow in color and about 3"x4" in size. It appeared to be something they may use for filing, but definitely it had nothing to do with DOJ. I don't like signing anything I don't have to, and I surely don't like my signature simply hanging out there for someone to use improperly.
This will be the last time I use this dealer and I would suggest others stay away and find someone else to do business with based on my experience.
