With all these panic buying clearing the shelves...

Who's the poor newbie that decided to arm up and defend themselves with the break action .410's? I mean really, everything is sold out, so you know there's was some panic dude was like "I NEED A SHOTTIE BUT I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THAT IS AND I'M BROKE!"

Even the .22's are cleaned out, but to me those aren't a terrible idea for a novice - actually recommended a matching pair of 10/22's to a young couple with zero gun experience who asked me about first time purchases.

Curious if the pawn shops in CA are cleaned out as well.

          ALWAYS is under demtards.

If demtards ran the Sahara Desert, everything would remain UN-changed for the first three years.

In the 4th year, they'd start running out of sand...

My friend did just that with a mossberg 500, i didn't know they even made a pump 410. If recoil sensitive, why not a 20g... But this was in Jan. Good news, today my SX4 started shooting light loads. Cut the barrel to 18" and home defense semi 12!

A 22 is hands down one of the best SHTF cartridges. Novice has nothing to do with it.

Went to a store other day to finalize a purchase, found a beautiful used s&w model 19-5 that had just arrived. It was a reasonablish price so it'll be arriving home with me in a couple weeks. Stores are getting inventory in (new and used), it just still going quick.

Single shot .410 is better than a rock.

If you know where to look-- and you're not trying to skimp on cost-- you can still get pretty much whatever you want/need. I already had plenty of guns & ammo, but have purchased several Glocks, a couple of lowers, complete uppers, ammo, and mags at relatively "normal" prices over the last few months. I even sold some stuff to the "less fortunate" at reasonable prices. You don't know what you don't know, and unfortunately an awful lot of folks here on CG are quick to tell newbies about how they should have bought it all five years ago instead of "...this is what you need to do..."

Elsinore Pawn in Lake Elsinore is pretty much stocked on guns. If they don’t have it you can be put on a list for when they come in. No money down. They had a few Glocks there last weekend. A shield. Berettas. 1911s. ARs. Revolvers. Shotguns. 22s.

It’s surprising the stock they have

My LGS will get pretty much anything. You might need to wait a bit (maybe a lot) depending on what you're after but you'll get it and not get gouged.
