DOJ DROS denial with no reasoning

I had to pawn some weapons a year back or so, I have redeemed 2 weapons in the last 6 months, the first two (desert eagles) they denied and put the release on the pawn shop operator. He has known me for thirty years or so and he released them to me. I just recently redeemed a 450 Marlin Magnum BFR. the DROS responded with a denial. there never was a follow up letter to the pawn shop or myself. it has been 4 months. The pawn shop operator has called twice and they refuse to tell him anything. I have called and waited on the phone for hours literally hours ( like I am doing at this very minute) with no one picking up the phone. I have e mailed Firearms.bureau@doj.ca.govhttp://www.oag.ca.gov/firearms for more information regarding DROS transactions.

lawyer up. probably not what you wanted to hear, but is probably what it is going to take. they will never tell the dealer anything other than a generic form letter.

    sorry
