Most common bullets in America? (Civilians, not counting .22)

Now I don't mean broad bullet categories like 5.56 or 9mm. I mean specific brand, type, grain, and velocity. I would like to exclude the whole .22 category.

So if you were to go to all the homes in America, and collect all the bullets, which bullets would you find the most of?

Any and all opinions and comments are welcome. Any relevant articles or data sheets would be greatly appreciated! Hopefully I'm not breaking any kind of rules, thanks for your time!

I'm looking for relevant statistics because I want to do a youtube video on homemade body armor.

If you want to help me out, I'd appreciate it. If you don't, that's fine, but don't hit me the the paranoid conspiracy nut stuff. That aint me

I believe each house in the USA has a case of 5.56 Green Tip as required by the second amendment and left behind by the contractor that built the home.

            lol, I wish

So that's my gold standard. I plan for my final plates to be able to withstand multiple hits from m855

I'm not starting with that round though, I was going to start super basic with things you might actually find in your house. Ex: Denim, bathroom tile, and duct tape. Then I'd move up from there.

Every single video I've watched on the subject does the typical "Here I am shooting it with 9mm from a glock, now I'm shooting it with 5.56 from my ar15" No one mentions bullet type, grain, or velocity

Usually FMJ bullets are the most common because they're the cheapest. So you'll find 9mm 115gr, 124gr, 135gr, and 147gr FMJ while you'll typically find 5.56 55gr FMJ and 62gr green tip and .45 ACP 230gr FMJ.

Used to be .38 spl 158 gr RN lead but I'd say now 9mm 115 gr FMJ.

9mm FMJ 115 gr as stated above.

                    Brand?
                    Winchester, S&B, Fiocchi, Remington??

Not sure how you might get accurate info other than picking the top manufacturers and asking for sales numbers.

By dollar, Ammoland says 9mm is almost 3/4 of its market.

Best guess would be a crap ton of FMJ in various calibers.

                        .30-30 170 gr SP

                        .308 Win/7.62 NATO 150 gr FMJ
