    Still crazy at FFLs?

Are there still crazy long waits at gun stores? No inventory? Surliness from the employees?

depends where you are I guess, but that isn't the case around me. Busy at times at the better shops, and low inventory for sure. I stopped by a local place on Friday afternoon just for grins. There were more employees (4) than customers (3 including me), and they had lots of (overpriced) ammo. Minimal semi-auto pistols and rifles save a few M1As.

Nothing against Turner's, they're a staple in SoCal since we don't have other "big name" stores, but if you go to one right now you're wasting your time.

If you're looking for inventory, look online.
If you're looking for ammo, order online.
If you're bored as f***, go hang out at turner's on saturday afternoon.

Any transaction I do now I do online, and have it shipped to a shop I know will take shipments and not waste my time. I get there when they open and am in/out in under 20min.

The stores are going to be crazy and out of stock until Q1 2021 - 3 months ago at my local range, the owner told me he has orders in to every manufacturer and the earliest he suspected he would get any stock for new firearms was early 2021. The gun shortage was first...people are starting to pick up on the ammo shortage....just look at the prices on gunbroker.

Not here in Arizona or when I flew back to Maine. Plenty of firearms and ammo in stock.

Can't speak for California anymore because I moved out of there last summer.

Not in socal mostly in the lbtard north. Go to shootsocal in Fullerton Dave has little wait no appointment necessary and best pricing around for transfers. Dros @ $47-19 out the door unless you use debit or ccd then 1 buck fee add on.

I'm in NC and gun stock is low with mostly the higher end stuff on the rack.. but you can find a gun easily if you aren't too picky.

Ammo is wiped though. except the uncommon stuff like 6.5 Creed and hunting rounds.. ammo price seems to be going up every weed with .80 cents a round being common for 5.56 now and .60 being a "deal" on 9mm unless you get lucky

Its still rough out there. The demand has dropped but the supply has dropped even more. I’m sure the Lack of supply has caused the demand to slow. Every Tuesday there is a line at my local big 5. They might get in 10 boxes of pistol ammo and 200 rounds of 5.56. I typically don’t go to gun shops on the weekends, but its even worse now. On a Saturday, the local Sportsmans was filled with seemingly all brand new people. I overheard so many conversations about what new gun, whats a 1911, where are your assault rifles...lol..stuff like that.

I’m thinking of selling some ARs. Uncle joe and aunt Kamala are going to steal them anyway. Not looking forward to the lines.

Super chill here in nor cals. Got basic ammo in stock if you need 556 or 9mm. Will take in shipments and act as FFL if we want to buy things online. Decent range of guns in stock.
