    Still long gunstore lines?

Is there still long lines to purchase firearms everywhere in the greater LA/san bernadino areas? Need to get my wife and son something but neither is willing to sit in line half the day. Plus I haven't bought anything in some time not sure I can even buy ammo in commiefornia.

Yes some ffls have firearms and not long lines. Try search with your attitude I would not refer to any of my ffls. Try martin retting in Culver city.

If you want/need it you will find the time to wait.
One hour wait at BassPro for a handgun recently and an hour for ammo at SW.

I see FULL gun shops, but NOT "lines" around here.

For the shops that HAVE inventory, that is.

I'd rather take my attitude on an 80 mile roundtrip to Bass Pro then buy from Retting.

No responses like these are typical California. You don't know anything. My wife has a bad knee and can't stand for a long time and my son has to take time off from work to do anything right now. I'm really amazed, I've seen one obnoxious comment here before but two in such a short time. Seems like covid has brought out what like to call DH's in the community you figure out what that means.

I work full time and go to grad school full time and was able to hunt down the firearms I wanted over the last few months and suck it up and wait in the lines like everyone else. Granted, one was a bolt action rifle and those are a little easier to find even now compared handguns, shotguns and semi-auto rifles, but I also just bought a Springfield XD9 new from a shop, which took doing some legwork and research. I don't deserve any special treatment and neither do you. I've seen elderly people waiting in the long lines and they didn't ask for special treatment and they sucked it up just like everyone else. I actually even brought a folding camp chair to one shop and waited an hour before they opened in hopes they even had what I was looking for because they weren't answering their phones because the lines were that long, so your wife could also do the same so she can sit down. Just sayin'...you could be a little more resourceful. My take is if you really want something bad enough you'll find a way to make it happen and that means doing your own homework and not relying on others to do it for you. And if you've waited this long to hop on the bus you obviously haven't been doing your homework and are a bit late to the party, and as a result you're going to have to suck it up and pay the price if the means waiting in the long lines and calling around (better to just show up in person because even if you call and they actually answer the phone it will probably be sold by the time you get there).

Sorry you're sour because you decided to act late in the game, but don't blame others for that. That's your fault.

Try 2A Zone in Upland. I was there today. They just told me they are quieter Tuesdays-Thursdays and busier the other days. Of course, I waited 15 minutes today. When I went at their opening time on Wednesday 10 days ago, I waited almost 15 seconds. I bought a handgun (granted, I had texted ahead and knew what I wanted was available) that day in less than 15 minutes. Hope that helps your wife, who can sit down in a chair during the purchase. They have good customer service there.
