Who knows of an FFL in Concord who will transfer an AR pistol?

I need to transfer a complete lower of an AR pistol. I'm wondering if there's any FFLs around Concord that will do that. I'm trying to get a hold of a lot of them but many of them won't do it. one of them even told me a bullet button is now a assault weapons feature. Not sure I agree with that.

Any help is appreciated.

They may be your best bet for local transfer of a scary black gun. But don’t try transferring a bolt action hunting rifle there. They are very anti-hunting.

Primo Tactical pinned and welded my titanium muzzle brake when nobody else would touch it, they did a great job you can barely even tell where the pin is. Dude seems like a good guy, I'd also recommend them.

Canyon and City Arms are going to tell you to pound sand, and Kevin Smith went out of business.

As far as "good" ffls around here I go out to Hook Line and Sinker in Antioch or UG Imports in Fremont. Those guys seem to at least know the law, and their transfer fees are reasonable.

I've heard good things about Black Dog but when I called I had a ****ty experience with a guy not knowing the law, so I'd lean away from them.

I have no idea where they (or anyone) got that idea, but NO, a 'bullet button' is NOT a 'feature'.

Bullet buttons are not illegal, they're legally irrelevant.

A BB used to make an AR-type into a 'fixed magazine' rifle. The legislature changed the definition of 'fixed magazine' so a BB no longer does that job.

Then, when DOJ ran registrations (now closed, remember), they required that guns that had had BBs to make them legal under the old law keep the darn things!

So, now, if one has an un-registered BB-equipped AR rifle, it would probably be an 'assault weapon', because it does not have a new-definition 'fixed magazine'. The reason 'fixed magazine' was interesting was it allows features - The problem is not the bullet button but the features.

Now, as to AR pistol lowers, I know nothing. Never wanted one, don't care. Do they need a BB? Do they need NOT to have a BB? I have no idea.
