Bipod use with hogue stock

hi all! I have a remmy 700 sps tactical in 223 I put a b&c varmint stock on with the bedding block. The problem is I have rather small hands considering how hunky I am. Anyone know if you can trim this stock down, and how? The original hogue stock is pillared only, and I like to shoot with bipod, so there is a little contact at front of stock, might not matter cause the 16.5 inch bull barrel is really rigid, but the stock fits comfortable in my (girly) hands, any advise?
