    Prop 64 reduced now moving out of state

    Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone has had experience with this before?
    So I have had my felonies reduced under Prop 64 and have been able to purchase firearms here in California. But next year I am planning on moving to Nevada and am just wondering if I'll pass background checks out there with no issues, or if there is something I need to do before I move. Thanks for any help

    Now that is an interesting question.

    Have your felonies been "deemed" Misdemeanors or has your CII actually been changed to reflect misd's instead of a felonies?

    I assume (yeah, I know) that NV will run your CII when you purchase there.

      I'm not sure what a Cll is, but they were reduced to misdemeanors for all intents and purpose.

        If you don’t have copies of Everything, I would get copies of everything while still in CA.

        In 10 years, 20 years, things can pop up from ones history.

        You always need copies.

            Remember, you can always just use “the gun show loophole”! After all I hear anyone regardless of background or eligibility can just walk out with a gun, no questions asked.

              NV tried to get rid of it, but wasn't written correctly the first time. Maybe they got it right the second time.

                Don't get legal advice on a gun forum especially for technical matters such as this. But an order declaring an eligible offense to be a misdemeanor under Prop 64 does reduce your offenses equivalent to a 17(b). No 17(b) needed. Maintain forever certified copies of the orders granted in your cases pursuant to Prop 64.

                  Anecdotal stories can be helpful...

                  Went with the family to Oatman AZ a number of years ago and observed free citizens exchanging firearms for cash, just like our founders codified in the Constitution.

                    Yeah I'm not really seeking legal advice, just hoping someone has done the same thing I'm doing. Worst that can happen is I move, apply, and get denied. Then I'll have to figure out what next

                              Hey Gvellas i got my Felony dropped to Misdemeanor via prop 64 in early 2017.. In Summer of 2017 i tried to buy a firearm at my local gun shop but after 30 days they denied me.. I havent tried it since.. Do u know if they fixed all the records finally to where I can try again? I live in LA County and my crime was in LA County as well.. When was the first time you purchased a firearm after your prop 64 petition was approved? thanks!!
