Can you spray Duracoat on a non-anodized AR lower?

If so, how do you do it? Do you spray some sort of primer on the lower and then the battle rattle?

Is this viable, with moderate wear, or would it start flaking off immediately?
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Lewis

All I have ever needed to do is follow the instructions. They have a fantastic degreaser that came with a kit. Once the part is cleaned and dried the paint sticks like it's part of the metal. I've used it on 7075 and AK receivers.

    Good sheet.

Yep. Used it on a bunch of stuff. Works well.

Also used Alumahyde, which, when used in its intended application, also is fantastic.
