In the Sacramento area, anyone know where I can chronograph my rifle?

    Sports man's Warehouse

Was in Sportsman's Warehouse in Roseville on 11/1/20 and they had 2 different Caldwell chronographs. I believe one was a Premium model and don't recall the other. I think one was about $170?

Chronographs are usually used to chrono ammo not firearms. Unless you plan on tossing your rifle through the trap?

And they tend to get shot up so they are not often loaned out However the new doppler chronos are less likely to get shot up.

But seriously, they are a tool for working up loads and comparing ammo, and doping a rifle/ammo combo. Any of that is a process not usually given to a one and done experience. And the price of entry for any of that would seemingly make the expense of a chrono inconsequential. But if you post what you are really after maybe someone can help, or even let you take a shot through one.

There's been a lot of newb posts recently.

I'm trying to decide if they're liberal hypocrites, marxists, antifa, or just lazy *** conservatives that got a helluva late start.

Labradar only takes a minute or two to set up, once you've sorted out all the settings. Buy or borrow one.

Appreciate that. Bought a Vortex HSLR and want to purchase a couple custom elevation caps so I need to get the velocity of my rounds.

Nobody will let you use their chrono. They get shot very often and you will have to buy your own, ask a friend who trusts you or join a club that has one.

                      Are you using factory ammo?
You can generally calculate what you need from the factory specs.
If reloads just invest in a chrono as you will need it.

It would take an unusual set of circumstances to inadvertently shoot a labradar chrono.

Speak for yourself. I have offered my chrono to anyone who would like to check their mv and have successfully done so many times. If one has never used one before, a bit of instruction on the effective and safe use keeps shooters from damaging the chrono. I help with setup and alignment.
