Wall Street not liking gun stocks.

Interesting to see the prices down.

They would seem to have pricing power due to shortages.

Production capacity and revenues must be way down

Have you considered that Wall Street is looking ahead and predicting a Biden win and presuming subsequent restrictions on sales?

No, and neither do most stock analysts.

Gun stocks are soaring in 2020 on the back of social unrest. A Joe Biden victory could send these gun and ammo names to even higher heights!

Fears of social unrest and stricter gun laws, as well as an expectation of legalized marijuana, are boosting gun companies and pot businesses.

Wall Street isn't very good at predicting the future.

More significantly, the loss of protection from liability for what criminals and crazy people do with guns if Biden wins...

Or, Wall Street is looking ahead at a Trump victory and a slackening of demand.

Yes exactly. Everything is down, not just gun stocks. Don't read too much into it

A lot of stupid New Yawkers overreacting to the Walmart headline. They didn't read the story. If you like these stocks it's a good time to get a discount.

Risk profiles are built into the value of securities. Arms manufacturers and the market pricing of the securities they've issued have long benefited from some very unique carve-outs and exemptions from product liability suits, class action suits etc. in this country. There is legitimate concerns that, with the political winds shifting as they have this last decade or so, those exemptions and immunity from liability suits will be removed under the seemingly inevitable change in administration. That is being reflected in the perceived market value of those securities.

I, would not be buying the stocks of US weapon manufacturers right now. If I played that game, I would be 'shorting' them.
