Go somewhere else. The message is very clear, they are overwhelmed and want to discourage people, reduce volume by raising their prices. I know 3 FFLs that have just stopped taking transfers.

Ive been transfering at Evans Gun World in Orange and Greta’s at Simi Valley. Theyre both 40 miles away from me, but theyre the easiest to deal with in this time.

Not sure if you can appreciate, but right now is SHTF time.
Nothing is normal. Adapt and adjust.

      Tactless A holes.

By the way, their lane prices are absurd.

Didn't like that place before. Really don't like them now.

If you drive out here for range time I strongly suggest you talk to 2AZone for all your FFL needs. They are great people and love their customers.

            Amen to that.

Zero dollars will ever be spent there again.

I've never enjoyed dealing with them. There was always confusion during transfers (losing track of firearms & paperwork) and are terrible with communicating expectations to their customers.

In my experience the tone of the email message mirrors their attitude in person.

I completely understand they have been overwhelmed. However whining about how busy they are instead of stepping up and dealing with the situation to make their customers happy is a real turn-off.

BTW thanks for the FFL recommendations.

They have always been this way. They act as though they are doing you a favor. Greg is an a hole.

My go to gun store stopped doing PPT months ago for the same reason.
But he will.accept a out of state.rifle for.me. I asked first with a copy of what I am ordering.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

                        Those guys are a joke.
ATF Form 4473: If a frame or receiver can only be made into a long gun (rifle or shotgun), it is still a frame or receiver, not a handgun or long gun.

I've only used them as a range. They are the only range in South Orange County (as well as being 1 of 5 in OC.) Also they are the only range that allows steel cased ammo from when I was shooting there, though they required a class before allowing rifle calibers. Guess they've changed over the years.

Guess I'll look for another FFL.

Question, if they are so bloody busy why did the CUT hours and CUT staff and CUT all of the before and after hours shoots they hosted? Didn't they just send out a e-mail telling everybody they are nearly or completely out of ammo to sell at outrageous prices? Last person I spoke to who shot there a week or so ago said the place was FAR from "busy".
