The meme is claimed to have surfaced 2013. Was NECKCAR running the Fusion body 7 years ago? I had kinda tuned out for awhile 'cuz of the Jimmie Johnson show.

(JJ is a great guy, terrific driver, yadda yadda seriously. Has done a lot for the Series. It just got old.)

I'm about to tune in to see if the Arlington TX race is running or rained out for a fourth straight day...

Btw, Ford's using the Mustang front/rear these days.

Yep. '05 or '06 was the last year for the Tortoise - they ran the Futon, until switching to the Mustang a few years ago.

I am, too, actually. His deal is for the road courses. We'll see what happens after that! I'm sure he'd like to run Aussie Super Touring too. Be a ho0t! to see him run Mt. Panorama for the Bathurst 1000.

I had hoped we'd get the trifecta at the Indy 500 over the last few years, but timing just didn't work out.

Kurt Busch did the Indy 500 the year before Fernando Alonso did. Jimmie isn't going to run ovals. Danica did not count at all. Fernando is back to F1 for the next couple seasons.

I just want to see IndyCar, Nascar, and F1 drivers all at the Brickyard at the same time. And not no names, actual talented drivers from Cup and F1.

I can't really get into Indy Car like I did when CART was running the entire show. Since the CART/IRL split in 1996, it seems like minor league ball to me, even though they united the two series in 2008. I still watch once in a while, but it isn't the same. Fan interest is a shadow of what it was before the split, even though series management has been saying Indy Car is coming back since 2008. I hope Roger Penske can make the series into what CART was.
