    50 Caliber vs Baboon

I saw this video and I thought others may be interested to just read the comments on it.

Kinda surprised the Baboon didn't have more of an explosive end, anti-climatic it seemed.....

He also has a video of shooting a Giraffe.

I was thinking perhaps the (in my mind less than impressive damage) result was because this was not the high powered round used by the 50 Caliber M2 Ma Deuce, but it is the same round. (I remember basically the hollowed out head from Soldier of Fortune/Hustler and the skin flap head of a dead suicide bomber)

It's just a bigger bullet at a slower than most deer hunting rifles velocity. No reason it would be any different and fling an animal across the canyon like folks seem to think.

That was far less anti-climactic than I thought. I presumed there would be a lot more trauma to the animal. Instead it was more of a clean shot.

The 50 Cal bullets are too tough. He needs to use a varmint round, much more explosive effect.
