If you afford two guns you should be able to afford two holsters.

I use friction retention kydex for matches, level I retention kydex tactical holsters for tactical training, and Galco leather holsters with a retention strap for CCW.

Finding a good holster is like dating, you spend a lot of money finding one you like.

I keep falling in love with hybrid holsters, leather on me and kydex on the gun

IMO, don’t eff around looking for a cheep holster, buy a specific holster for each gun you may carry. The femoral artery you save may be your own.

Check Safariland GLS - they have a few models and each one will fit several dozen guns. There is a screw (maybe two) that are used to adjust to different guns. It's a good holster to have around in a pinch, even if I wouldn't carry in any holster that is not 100% specific to the gun I'm carrying.

                  Try this: Safariland 568-51-411

Explore our duty holsters, concealment holsters, and optic-ready holsters. Find the perfect fit for Law Enforcement, Military, and First Responders.

I bought this from an LE dealer (physical store) because I needed a safariland compatible holster “right now” for a Glock 19. The body of the holster says “Colt 1911”. When you loosen all the screws, it fits a G19 (or G26 in your case). I have used it for various 1911s by tightening the screws. Not ideal, but fits your needs for a quick course solution.

There are smaller and larger versions of the 568 holster. I had one that says “Colt Off”, or officer, that is closer to your size needs, but can’t find it right now.

In Safariland speak, the first number is the holster model (568), the second is the belt attachment (51), the third is the gun, or guns, that fit (411).

What didn't you lime about the gls? Im a cz guy so safariland doesn't have many options. The GLS was the only one. Rigged it up on my battle belt and im really digging it. What don't you like about it.

You're going to need to separate holsters. Don't be cheap. Just buy what you need.

It's funny that you think your going to buy one holster

You will buy one, then another, and likely a few more before you settle on something. I have multiple holsters for each gun. Some for summer, others for winter and different types of dress. And some that are just crap in spite of all the research that goes in to a purchase.

I was in your shoes and went round and round, bought a Bravo Concealment IWB Kydex. All the reviews were awesome but the holster was not, wore it a few times and was done with it digging into me.

Like I said the hybrid is best for me in most situations (I don't appendix carry) but what's good for you is yet to be determined.

                        Lot's of trial and error.

Especially for CCW. You need a reliable holster which means something that FITS properly
