    Standard Capacity Mags. / PPT

I'm sure this has been asked before, so sorry for the redundancy.
Is it legal to purchase or sell a used handgun through a PPT with used standard capacity magazine(s)included in the sale or purchase?
Average citizen able to pass DROS etc. Non-LEO/ or 'exempt'.
I know 'off-roster' guns can be PPT'd . . . just wondering if standard capacity mags could be included in the sale as well.
    TIA

Only if they are blocked to 10.

We have at least one story here about an FFL saying no to a blocked/glued mag., so verify with your FFL first.

Thank You . . . I kind of figured that was the case . . . just wasn't sure with the 'off-roster' PPT scenario, thanks again.

No legal transfer of 10+ magazines unless exempt or sending to a state where no such restriction applies.

Of course you can, depending on the gun. Many guns come standard with 10 or fewer round capacities including most 22 caliber pistols and most single stack centerfire pistols. So, if what comes standard with the gun holds 10 or fewer rounds, you're good to go.

You can't transfer high capacity magazines as defined in the Penal Code as having the capability to hold more than 10 rounds. There is no language in the Penal Code about "standard capacity" magazines.

^^^ You think that's the answer he was looking for and did it address the gist of the question? You knew he meant magazine with 11+ capacity.
