Any way, the point is that just because someone owns guns, don’t assume they think you should be permitted to own them too.

This is so true. A co-worker recently got into firearms and thinks all the CA laws are great. Then he complains about 1 in 30 days and the roster and how he can't wait until his son, who is attending school in Arizona, turns 21 so he can "gift" him the pistols that he wants.

Although, I'm not sure ACB feels the same way.
