Imo, the shield/g43 is comfortably small. Kahr pistols are smaller, but just as shootable.

There are others and I'm sure we'll get some more suggestions here shortly...
Some pistols like the Cheetah and Seecamp have grips which are too small. Those are deep concealment firearms and shouldn't be considered as firearms with smaller grips.

Me? I'd take a look at the Kahr family of pistols.

I agree but the title of the thread was 'pistol with the smallest grip'. At the risk this is a contest and a million dollar prize awaits, or that the OP has some other motive for asking the question - it would be remiss not to mention those pistols.

Unfortunately little context was given for the question...

1911 with slim grips are pretty small.
Not sure if we have any 9mm on roster in commander or officer size.
I can also suggest a CZ Compact/PCR/P01. They may not have the smallest grip, but they seems to fit small hands very well.

My Kimber Ultra Carry II is in .45 ACP but they are also available in 9mm with an 8 round magazine. It's about the same size as the Colt Officer's Model 1911.

I have the 75P01 with slim grips, seem to fit good for my small hands. I will probably get a CZ compact down the road.

Looking for a compact pistol I can train with. Not CCW, more like tactical. All I have now is a full size CZ and a Kimber 1911.

I agree with everything you said.

My concern is that sometimes, a guy will decide to buy a pistol for his gal/mom/sis/etc. and make the mistake that the smallest pistol will be the best for her. I've seen a few instances at the range where someone will bring his gal along and expect her to hit the 25-yd target with a Beretta Tomcat the first time out, and then get frustrated when she misses.

That's why I always recommend the "buy what fits your hands and which you shoot well" rather than the "Buy a Glock!" mentality.

Another vote for Kahr, preferably their steel framed offerings.

My buddy brought out his 365 this weekend, and it impressed me, its tiny, yet very shootable. My daily is a g27, but the 365 shot so well, and is so slim while retaining capacity, I'm considering it.
