    Great SoCal Gunsmith!!

Hey fellow Calgunners - just wanted to give a shout out to a Southern California Gunsmith in case anyone is looking for one.

I heard about "ar15barrels" on another thread and contacted him to get some new sights put on my wife's Ruger GP100 and a bunch of enhancements for one of my shotguns.

    He's based in Van Nuys.

He did a great job while I waited - was in and out in an hour! And VERY fair pricing.

(FYI - he didn't ask me to do this - was just really happy with the work and glad I found someone - so wanted to share this with you all!)

    This is his profile:

    Here are his websites:

    AR work: www.ar15barrels.com
    Bolt actions: www.700barrels.com
    Foreign Semi Autos: www.akbarrels.com

Yes props to ar15barrels, he definitely knows what he's doing.

Got a rail welded to my ptr91. That thing is not moving...ever! Very happy with work. Does the work while you wait, reasonably priced and is meticulous in what he does. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

He is our go to guy. Any other gunsmith seems to take months. Cash and carrfy is very handy.

Not only that but he has a ton of mostly snark free (I guess you can only take so much dumas on a forum) advice for ppl here on Calguns. A treasure to our community

Based on what I've read he's done here on CG's, he can probably do it with a cup of coffee in one hand and typing a response to this thread with the other.
Oh no, not another 1911 !

                            +1 on Randall

He did a repair on factory MOA base (separated screw heads) on my Tikka and installed a new muzzle brake. Wealth of knowledge about the precision rifle game and his thread about getting started on reloading helped get me situated on reloading.
