I finally got an alert from Ammoseek yesterday on a decent price on 6.5 Grendel. I saw it 15 minutes too late. By the time I went to the site it was sold out. Stop bogarting all the ammo (at least 6.5 Grendel!).

3/5 would laugh.

Buy it cheap and stack it deep. Reload. Shoulda, coulda.
You knew this day would come, yes, but you did not know how, why or when.
Thasswhy we stock up on commercial cart-ridges and reloading components.

6.5 Grendel is all over around here, I may need to get an upper in that caliber so I can buy ammo.

I've got a ton of 9mm, .45, .223/5.56, .308/7.62, .38 special/.357. I didn't know or realize until 2 weeks ago that I needed a 6.5 Grendel upper. There was no way to plan since I had no advance notice of this urge. Damn impulsive spontaneity! Now scrambling for ammo. Thinking of putting up a WTT post but I'm not at home right now.All posts dedicated to the memory of Stronzo Bestiale

Stop buying? LOL.
I never though you could have enough ammo, then two years ago I realized I have enough ammo in almost every caliber I need except .270 Win, and .300 Win Mag (hunting rounds), or at least enough to get through some pretty hard times.
I focused on the common rounds when I bought guns, .270 and .300 are the old Winchester model 70s I inherited. The common rounds were cheaper to buy and find. So, from most to least 5.56/.223, .22LR, 7.62 NATO, tied with 7.62x39, 9MM, .45ACP, .38/.357, Shot Shells.
I would never buy 6.5 Grendel, because the factory will make those low on their priority list when they run out.
I'm a buy cheap stack deep kinda guy, after going through a couple ammo and gun shortages during the Obama days.
I also had to split it up into different locations, which is a pain trying to keep track of it.
Anybody who has had guns and was still caught with their pants down, well, I'm not to sympathetic for those people. New gun owners, I'm slightly more sympathetic, but they should have bought their guns years ago.

If any So Cal reloaders need Powder, Phillips still has a good supply..
IMO, buying a good supply of 22lr during the good times is the best way to go. Its money in the bank with a good return. It's always going to be the most wanted ammo. You can keep a 100k rounds without taking up too much room and you can trade it for just about anything.
When it gets to 20 CPR it's time to sellIt takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.
Happiness is a warm gun.
