He did security work/ escort service (the kind with guns not garter-belts) and while he was prety well tied in down there I wouldn't have gone some of those places even if I had a couple dozen guys with me all packing heat.

maybe some of our USN members can try to find him through their contacts?

At this point I'd love to hear that he just is fed up with all of us and never wants to talk with us again, it sure beats some of the alternatives.

If some body knows what unit he's in they may be able to check if he is UA,or not. if he is not UA,then he is where he should be. and I'd leave it at that.
