Raahauge's in Corona is busy during the week, more so on the weekends.

The Firing Line in Huntington Beach on Thursdays at noon isn't too bad.

I went to Clark County gun range outside of LV last week. It is a huge range and we had to wait an hour to shoot. Busy, people are pulling their triggers like ammo is free.
I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

I was buying my targets the other day and the guy behind the counter said that since so much was closed due to COVID-19, people had time off work (or no work) and nothing else was open for their free time. So ranges are crowded. Just like hiking trails.

Been seeing more people...Maybe everyone's trying to go out and practice with their new COVID guns.

Was that San Leandro? On weekends 4+ hour wait times are normal for the pistol line. They're down to 4 pistol and 3 rifle lines from their pre-pandemic 26 pistol and 6 rifle count. All county-mandated.

Interestingly, from what I understand, the indoor portion is closed because the county wouldn't approve access, since everyone going in and out has to use the same door handle. The same situation occurs at any business that doesn't have automatic door openers (many of which are open for business), so I'm not sure what the issue is there.

I was just at ASR today and went twice last month. Only one of the days was totally packed that I showed up and left without getting out of my car. The other two days, were fine. No different than before the pandemic.

More people with more free time (off work) so more at ranges if they can spare the ammo. Maybe they are shooting fewer rounds.
Plus with unrest, some may want to stay tuned up...

Heading out Friday, will try out my new AR22 build.

Looks promising. I'm loaded up with 22lr in buckets for rest of the year.
