I don't know how many people know about them but it's Gander RV and Outdoors in Kenosha Wisconsin.
I recently purchased a Bersa pistol that had a defect in the barrel. I was looking for an authorized Bersa warranty center and first came across a place in Texas. When I spoke to the owner, who has decades of experience
, I was very put off. Statements like "never seen that before" and "yeah I think I can do that" send it here and we'll take a look. Then I spoke to America's Gunsmith Shop, another listed Bersa warranty center. With a name like that you would expect something special, right?
Right off the top I thought I found the right place. He told me he had the fixtures to remove the barrel and had done it a few times before. Not only that Bersa does not pay for shipping to send it in. The sent me a Fedex box on their dime and in one day after receiving it they had verified the issue, had it apart, spoke to Bersa and had a new barrel on the way. I was kept in the loop on every step by very personalized emails.
I think I was just a bit thrown off by this level of service. I'm confident it will be fixed right and sent back in a timely manner. I was also looking at the finishes they do and their work looks amazing. Water transfer printing, Cerakote, etc. I doubt their work is cheap but they are worth a look.
