No Doubt - Dumb Question

I just got Howard Leight electronic earmuffs (Impact Sport). How in the heck do you adjust the headband? The instructions are useless, and all I can find is that it is easy to adjust. Really. I can not budge a thing on these. Furthermore, the way it is constructed, I don't see how they could adjust anyway. Any ideas?

The metal wires on the headband slide into plastic sleeves attached to the ear cups.

Got it. My other Peltors slide in and out of the headband, not the ear muffs. Duh! - Phil
