Calguns Search for Firefox and IE7

A few of you may know that there was a custom google search engine created by Oaklander. Well I took it one step further and made it into a search plugin for Firefox and a registry file that will add it to your search providers for IE7.

How to Install

• Go here
• When you get to the plugin list search result page, just click on the "I" ,see the screenshot below,to install it in Firefox. Enjoy!

Internet Explorer 7

Use the attached registry file to install Calguns Search as a Search Provider in IE7.

How to Install

• Download CalgunsSearch.zip,
• Unzip the file
• Close all instances of IE7,
• Double click on CalgunsSearch.reg and you will see a warning asking you if you want to add it to the registry, click Yes.
• Now open IE7 and in the drop-down list of Search Providers you should see "Calguns Search"

If anyone is interested you can use any of the google hacks with these two plugins. A very simple example to help narrow search results would be

<screen name>,<search term> (note the comma between the 2)

i.e.

obeygiant,flowchart
