    Reno Show Find

Just got back from the Reno Show this weekend. Ammo was high (as expected) but I did find this item. A couple of cans of goodies with this one still unopened and with the IMI metal seal on it. Savings on it ($800) more than paid for the trip and then some.

For those that didn't go, the Winchester Collector Assoc was there with some very nice displays. The rest of the show was the same guys in the same tables with the same stuff for the most part.

That was really not important for us to know. Was Iggster there with his Asian cohorts speaking jibberish Asian languages over the radio? LOL!

      Is that 7.62, or 5.56?

That's a good find, and the brass is top notch stuff for reloading.

I think that's a whole lot of primers for reloading 50 BMG rounds.

Did you get those primers from Performance Ammunition at the show? They're located in Reno and sell at the Reno show. I got some IMI primers from them at the Cow Palace show earlier this year.

+1 there. Better yet, I know all of my rounds will be from the same lot for some time.

I believe that was their name. I saw them at the Aug Reno show and kicked myself for not getting more then or even their phone number at that time (only got a few hundred then) . So this show I made a point to find him and make an offer for a full can and 1/2 of an open can of the same lot he had. I wouldn't be surprised if you check the lot #s on yours from the Cow Palace that you will find them to match mine. Word is that he bought all of Skip Talbot's primers, bullets, ect after he passed away. I know Skip loved the IMI for his competition rounds, so it could be true. Regardless these typically run $18-$20/100 IF one can find them. I got the bulk pricing down to less than $11/100.

Whatever Asian language was used btwn Iggagiggy and his cohorts was used to prevent instant monitoring. It was utilized to be de facto jibberish.

WokMaster's statement was not a dis at the language, but at the folks using it...
