    Just found my lost passport

So I just recently found my passport that I had reported lost/stolen a little while ago. I know it is invalidated for the use of travel but the answer I can't find is, can I still use it for my ammo and firearm purchases?

My apologies if this is in the wrong form.

No, it has to be current and valid.

If they scan it through the ID reader it will flag it as lost/stolen and you will have a hassle.

Can you report it found? Unpossible that you're the only one who's ever done that.
