For 2$ a mag? Yeah right. If true, he just flushed his freedom for $400.
More like he was doing it to keep his family members from losing fingers or toes or eyes.

Wait, so how many reloads do you guys carry when you visit Mexico?
        Seems totally appropriate.

Probably the tenth or so time he did this...kinda like a DUI tag, lots of chances beforehand.

I miss the old days of driving into Mexico without scrutiny.

Why does US border patrol care? (not that I am opposed to helping out neighbouring countries) I have never been checked for anything flying out of any country.

It is Customs and Border Protection not Border Patrol different agency.

They are primarily looking for large amounts of cash (over $10k), guns, ITAR items (Magazines, Optics, Lasers, Night Vision etc.)

The cartel has shopping lists and sends their foot soldiers shopping states side all the time.

Some of you grown men are so naive to the way the world works it astounds me I have been stopped several times driving into Mexico by both CBP and Mexican Customs agents.

This happens everyday on both sides of the border get a clue there is nothing that the cartels haven’t done or won’t try to get what they want they have an endless supply of cash and poor idiots who will go to prison by breaking the laws of both countries to please their cartel bosses.

What do you expect out of a nineteen year old? Youth is definitely wasted on the young.
