Night vision shoot?

Any guys shoot at night regularly?

I am looking to join or even arrange a night shoot to do drills.

Doing a temperature check. I’ve yet to zero my IR laser, the range is closed due to fire danger, so this is probably 3-4 weeks out.

Lancaster/Palmdale area. In about 3-4 weeks.

I want to be zeroed and have done some test outings before a shoot. Don’t wanna waste time putzing with gear when everyone should be shooting.

Hodge Road I’ve seen people shooting at night easy access in and out.

I do on my private range.

For a couple of guys, I can have a place for it.

Just a pellet gun with a very expensive scope to take care of the rats and rabbits around the farm.

Most of the time I go shoot during the day at a local range. Because its far for me once in a while I will go out to a BLM in Palm Springs and do Night Vision shooting there during low/no light. There are targets and also Youtube videos to show you how to zero your IR and you can do it from home.

GOOD article in the new issue (October) of Shooting Illustrated, about training for night shooting; being able to clear malfunctions, change an optic battery, and find all of your personal gear in the dark, w/o giving away your position.

Wish I knew of a place around here to do that, to get some practice in myself.
