Lawd, now it's my turn to look for ammo!

I've long took pride in the fact that I've "bought 'em cheap and stack 'em deep" that when I see guys complaining of $0.60/rd 9mm ammo, I kept patting myself on the shoulder.

Then it dawned on me I have a precision rifle class in less than a couple of months. The class specifies "250 rounds of match ammo only" and I only have less than 100 rounds of those. I have some S&B but they are one of the lowest priced ammo when it comes to 6.5CM and they're not anywhere considered "match ammo"

So, where do I get some good 6.5 CM match ammo? At least when it comes to 6.5 CM, the prices have not tripled like it did with 9 mm.

I know, I should have gone into hand loading but that is one of my first projects after retirement (in a few years and after we completely got out of California)

SGammo seems to have a decent supply. The price is ouch! but it all is these days.

OK, thanks for the Ammoseek link. I cleaned up a small shop's stock of Hornady ELD Match 140 gr as their price was pretty good and shipping was reasonable. These will be just enough to maybe zero the scope and chronograph the ammo.

Buds guns also has a good price about as good as Ammoseek's, but it looks like I'll have to get a Bud's Team membership to get the price.

Where is the class? Maybe you can buy it out of state.

The class is at Front Sight, so the bulk of the class ammo can be sent to my daughter's home in Henderson.

Norma 120 shot really well for me out of my gas AR10 6.5CM and they were $16 box before 2020.
