    That is the great conundrum many of us well stocked CalGun members face. I guess if the money helps with the budget...take some profits. Otherwise, who knows where it will end and more is better;

    - Trump wins and the woke leftists rain violence down on the country
    - Biden wins and gun/ammunition restricts rain down on us...

And I thought the box of 100 45 acp I bought the other day for 62 dollars was stupid expensive.

Just paid $310 for a box of 500 9mm, PMC FMJ practice rounds and thought that was too much!

then I looked over and saw that there were about 10 boxes left and asked the guy, maybe I should get another box....He shook his head and said yeah, you should, 'cuz not sure when we will get more in stock.

          So $620.00 out the door.

Their dirt must contain a lot of precious metals if that price is cheaper.

That's painful...especially when you consider (for those that already had the components and aren't paying current primer/powder/lead prices) reloading 45 ACP is $0.15-17 per round or $15-$17 per 100.

I used to say I "save" (reloaders never actually save any money reloading because we spend our "savings" on more reloading stuff, LOL) 50-75% over the cost of commercial ammo, but at current price levels (e.g., CTD selling 9mm @ $2/round is beyond CRAZY) I stopped doing the math.

If this keeps up, forget about crypto, gold and silver...there's money in them there bullets!

or $2,000 (if they'd let you buy 2 "cases") @ CTD. SMH....

At $.62/round that's about 300% above early 2020 price per round for 9mm...and by today's pricing would be considered a "deal". Unreal. 1,000% mark up by CTD (if my public school math is correct)....amazing.

Do you guys remember the good ole days of online ammo purchases, discounted gift cards, active junky and manufacturer rebates?

Glad I was able to stack it deep on the cheap. 9mm for $60 per case, 12 gauge for $20. I remember some members working the system enough where they were paid to buy ammo.

So we passed $2 pr. Reloaded.
                    Any bets on $3 pr?
Any guesses at the high water mark for 9mm FMJ?

December 28th 2019 walmart was clearing out all handgun ammo at a loss. I scored 1000 rounds of 9mm fmj factory winchester for $75+ tax. Wish I got more. It was fun plinking with 9 at 22 prices.

                        Yep.
                        Tula was $2.50 for 50rds
                        Remington was $4.00 for 50rds

Cleaned out my local Walmart of ammo of both.

Or the last of the perfecta a couple years ago. 308Win $8 for 20rds. 9mm probably the same or a little less.

that was the last time i bought ammo. the rebate was great due to overflowing supply. didn't mind cutting out the upc code for submission.
