FFL in SoCal for AK clone?

Since my mom sold my pre-ban AK-47 13 years ago to my neighbor who did in fact register it with the DOJ as an AW, I am looking to if possible build an AK clone. Can someone give me some guidance on how I would go about building one? Most of the FFL's in San Diego said they wont do a transfer on a AK or AK clone receiver even though they fall under the same legalities (for the most part) as the AR-15 that are OLL. Can anyone help me out a bit with some websites for kits and a place in SD/LA area that will transfer a stripped lower?

I am getting one built by a professional builder. You can do a screw build yourself or a rivet built with the right parts, but why? Let the pros handle it, I say!

Buy a kit here (parts don't require an FFL) and get a receiver from Nodak Spud (does require FFL, go with Independent Armament Company in San Fernando) then have a pro builder make it hapen for you.

Where in CA are you at? OC Armory also does AK/AK receiver transfer.

I believe BSP is selling AK type products again. You could also use Cold War Shooters in Highland.

Did you even bother reading my post? I've transferred a receiver already through IAC, they'll do it w/o any issues.

The BATFE did not seize any firearms from Bright Spot Pawn.
The Riverside County Sheriff Department seized 10 WASR (Romanian AK clone) rifles, in order to examine them. After several weeks, the Riverside County Sheriff Department gave the rifles back.
