    New Travel Bag

Gotta say Case Club makes a nice case. Affordable also. 62208826705__EB050684-5259-4719-9E00-72B93DA50196.jpg

      I like fitted cases.

The Case Club website say that I can send them my stuff and they will fit it. I don't think I will send my stuff.

I am looking for custom cut foam for a number of cases I already have. Do you recommend them for that?

How about a real picture? What case is it? Details? How much did it cost you? Did you have them custom cut it?

Not custom cut. But it has multiple cutouts for your firearm. Cost was 247 OTD. I have 2 of their cases and recommend them highly.

You can send your firearms. They are a FFL01.

The one thing about their cases is that the base case is generally a Plano product. Plano cases deform to a much greater degree than a similar Pelican, plus they are heavier with easily breakable locks. This matters for air travel as a broken case may not pass TSA inspection and will run you up closer to the 50lb overage charge sooner, and that may be as much as the difference in case cost for a Pelican.

                  How I know:

I have three of their Plano cases, AR15, 10 and hunting shotgun, and the last trip on the plane with the SG case a lock was broken off. It broke off because at some point the case got crushed, to the point that one of the hasps no longer latched. It was permanently deformed and with a loose lock it was probably sheared off on a conveyor.

Nothing inside was damaged, which is why you get a good foam case in the first place, but having a broken case and needing another is crying twice. Insurance covered it, but not worth the hassle, IMHO.

If you fly with the case, and wish to order from them, it used to be that you could specify the base case. Look into it. Otherwise, they’re fine for car transport.

                  YMMV
