oh yeah. Ive been doing research, if I wanna top rate quality, I'd go with JRH.

wanna save a couple hunerd dollars, I'd go with - https://shop.superiortac.com/Night-V...ocular_c15.htm

spending the absolute minimum - https://www.atncorp.com/nightvision-...ose-atnnvm14-2

I did research on what the lowest possible acquisition cost new and found new Gen 2 PVS-14s bottom out at 1400 and used unit dont go much lower than 1200, if you could find one.

So, between 1400 and my acquisition cost $620, I'm good with the savings. I can easily flip this monocular at a profit, and still use the rest of my headgear on a new night vision scope. I'd say I have built in insurance if I change direction.

              Good job OP.

NOT a bad Bubba mod at all. MacGyver would be proud.

                Two reasons:

                1) to form and adjust the bracket to get the scope directly on the wearers eye. the dummy was pretty much a template.
                2) for a few bucks, I have the helmet resting on a dummy head on a shelf for storage, rather than have it sitting on a table or in a drawer. made sense to me.
