    used brass

    Hi folks , probably a stupid question but is there a demand for used reloadable brass and if so whats in demand and whats a fair value ? Thanks in advance Tom

    Both demand and price are caliber and headstamp dependant!

      google once fired brass.

      typical prices per 1000

      223: $80-100
      9mm/40sw: $40-50
      45acp: $50-60
      308: $150-200

      Varies from place to place. Military stuff seems to get better prices. Some places sell it a little cheaper if you are willing to clean it yourself. Military stuff often needs the primer crimp removed and that usually adds to the cost. some brands and headstamps sell for more than others sometimes.

      If it is not once fired, the price can be substantially less.
