I recently needed to do a PPT in Alameda county. Here's what I found:
Elite Armory in Castro Valley does PPT's Wed & Thurs all day - no appointment needed. Guns, Fishing & other Stuff in dublin does them Tues through Fri all day but do yourself a favor and go there at off-peak times. Like early afternoon.
Wherever you go- be patient with the person doing your PPT paperwork. There's a lot to do that has to be done right or you got to start over. It takes a lot of time for practically no money in return. Good luck.

I contacted them too and they're doing PPT- but you have to make an appointment and the soonest date they offered me was about 3 weeks out.

Dom's in Livermore would not do a private party transfer for us a couple of weeks ago, counter guy stated reason was Covid, of course they were open for all other business. J&R Sports Supply right down the street was very accommodating, did the PPT without hesitation, no appointment nessesary. If I lived in Livermore I would never set foot in Dom's again.
