My initial reaction was to answer yes, but I am not so sure.

Do you know for sure that no State has a law restricting capacity below 10 rounds. How abut New Jersey. As I recall I remember reading that they had a restricted capacity that was below 10 rounds.. 7/8?

How many magazines do you own? Do you really need the money that badly. Keep your magazines and use them at the range.

I keep the "little" mags loaded and in the back of the "safe". No such thing as too many mags

Check the laws in some of the occupied territories such as NJ and NY, and a few others. Some of them have limits less than ten rounds last I heard.

Because they become pointless in a few days, and I rather sell them and use the money to buy standard capacity mags.

As others have stated, I believe there are states with restricted mag capacities below 10. Regardless, I would encourage you to keep them, as WE may join such other states some time in the future.

the way gun laws are these days it's best to keep a few of the 10 rd mags around

what if they make new laws that say you need background checks or must pay a special magazine tax, having those old 10 rd mags might come in handy.

I hope you are right but many years of living in Kalifornia would lead me to be cautious in my optimism.
My mother always told me to be careful what you ask for.

Just one more piece of parental advice I stupidly ignored.

I use them to keep dust out of the magwell while guns are being stored.

Sell them here, probably much easier and slightly more profitable than selling out of state.
