The truth is usually a defense to slander, whether FFL's, classified ads, or anything else.

That the market is tight is well known.

Judging by the time stamp of this post, I'm assuming you're posting about the Burbank gun shop thread.

It is one thing to price a gun beyond its MSRP. But for a gun shop to put in place made-up fees and surcharges, and taxing them, along with the DROS fee, is pure scumbag behavior. It is a predatory business practice, and SHOULD be frowned upon.

I have ZERO problems with guys asking $1200 for a Glock G43 or 19 in the Marketplace. But for a gun shop to invent bullsh** fees is wrong in any industry.
