it takes 3 years and a ton of rainfall to get them to biodegrade and in SoCal, we don't get enough rainfall to achieve that.

plus, it is clay. that is already natural. that is like buying biodegradable wood.

I just walked through Bass Pro and realized they sell other brands of clay, and cheaper. I've been only getting them from Sportsmans and they only have White Flyers... 135pcs/$16

i've only bought clay from wal-mart due to what i thought were cheap prices

Bass pro in Rocklin had the champion 90 for $8, that's what got me looking at Walmart. Funny thing is I used to always buy at Walmart until they stopped selling them at my local ones. They had some "bright" exploding clay targets for double that. Orange Crusher.

You've got a point, it's already natural. I too have visited the vast clay pigeon mines of Southern California...

Get the biodegradable clays, don't use them on BLM or National Forest, and enjoy them at the trap field where your litter ends up amongst the litter of thousands of other people before you and doesn't infest the cleaner areas of the state.

Standard clays use a plastic glue/binder that does not degrade.

Use biodegradable clays, which use a binder that actually decomposes so the clay pidgeon renders back to basic minerals.

That's what I'll do, when I go to the forest I'll use the bio ones, but at the dedicated range, save some money.

I prefer roadside election campaign signs. Slap a shoot-n-c on them and blast away at democrats. Easy clean up, pull it out of the ground.

Free after election day, pick them up and clean your town too.

Found the 90pc Bios at Walmart for $7 didn't see the Champions.

I shoot at a range with manual trap launchers where you either bring your own or buy at the range. Naturally, it's cheaper to bring you own. Either way they have to be biodegradable. I get the White Flyers at Walmart (which are actually orange). Yes, most recent batch was $6.88 for 90. Apparently they had them on sale for $5.88 for 90 but I missed that. I think if the range would let me I would be OK with the non-biodegradable ones if they were cheaper.
