Shipping ammo to another state

Bottom line... there is a nationwide ammo shortage

I have plenty, but my brother in Texas has none

What, if any, legal restrictions are in place to stop me from packaging up some ammo and sending it via UPS if I follow all their guidelines? They do have a procedure for shipping ammo up to 66lbs.

I'm not selling it to him, just gifting it.

They can ship UPS with the ORM-D label...that's whether they're in their original boxes, packed loose in a bag, or anything in between.

UPS. Can not ship USPS.

It’s easy with UPS. Print up some ORM-D “small arms” stickers, or you can even write it on box in a few spots. Has to be shipped at an actual UPS customer center, not one of the UPS stores you see in the strip malls and what not. The only restrictions I know of are weight and I believe there are restrictions on some of the big calibers.
