A question for the season Glock enthusiasts and community as a whole.
I'm new to the glock platform as I'm pretty much a Sig guy but I don't mind having a plethora of platforms at my disposal.
So I recently acquired g26 and I also owned g17 as well. Both are chambered in 9mm. I was comparing the two and I notice that the g17 magazine fits in the g26 as well. But not vice versa for the obvious reason that the g26 magazine is too short. However the g17 magazine attaches and releases normally in the g26.
Does this mean that one can used the g17 magazine in a g26?
Second, is this true for the Glock in general as a platform given the same rounds chambered?
By contrast, Sig doesn't do that. You cannot use a p220 in a p226 or p226 in a p229.
I just want to be sure before testing it out at the range.
Thank you all!
