I'm always curious as to why other people are so concerned about the quantity/proportion/type of guns that other Calgunners possess. These threads seem to pop up quite often.

Also, I haven't tried but I'm sure that bacon grease works fine for at least a couple rounds. Although it would make for a bit of a mess, and your gun would forever smell like bacon....not that that's a bad thing, I guess.

Frankly the answers going to be as varied as the reasons why people decide to own firearms.

I own more long-guns than handguns because my primary interest in firearms is collecting WWI-WWII small arms, of which period long guns are cheaper and easier to acquire than handguns, which means I got a lot of old-*** rifles and the token shotgun, while having a smaller collection of mostly modern handguns because of it.
