Check out the roster. CA compliant roll mark is listed there. Also, check the notes on Glock page.

                        Per CA DOJ BOF...

Glock Gen 1-3 pistols that are made in Austria are on-Roster.

Specific Glock Gen 3 pistols that are made in Austria are off-Roster.
                        ^21SF-MB-STD, 21SF-MB-1913, 21SF RTF2, 19 RTF2, 23 RTF2.

Glock Gen 4-5 pistols that are made in Austria are off-Roster.

Glock Gen 3-5 pistols that are made in USA are off-Roster.

Why the difference between "made in Austria" and "made in USA"?

Because, CA DOJ BOF views them as two different manufacturers {Glock Ges.m.b.H (Austria) vs Glock Inc (USA)} and the Roster listing only applies to Glock Ges.m.b.H.

In order for Glock pistols made by Glock Inc (USA) to be listed on-Roster, they require all of the CA mandated safety features (chamber load indicator, magazine disconnect mechanism, microstamping array).

Sorry it was a misunderstanding. You're correct. I implying the Gen 5 is also made in Austria.

Welcome to the new world of owning firearms in CA.

You can buy a Gen 3 roster approved Glock that was manufactured in Austria from an FFL in California. If you want any other kind of Glock Gen then you need to buy it Private Party from someone that essentially moved here to CA with it, and got CA residency after the fact.
